Vanilla-Glazed Ginger Scones

We LOVED this recipe found on Taste of Home for Vanilla-Glazed Ginger Scones.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground Raw Food Factory Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold butter
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/4 cup Raw Food Factory Molasses
- 1 tablespoon Raw Food Factory Maple Syrup
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon Raw Food Factory Vanilla Extract
- Dash salt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200°.
- In a large bowl, whisk the first 6 ingredients.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, whisk cream, egg, molasses and syrup until blended
- Stir into crumb mixture just until moistened.
- Drop dough by 1/4 cupful's onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake until golden brown, 12-15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine icing sugar, cream, vanilla and salt;
- stir until smooth. Drizzle over scones; sprinkle with ginger.
- Serve warm & enjoy!
